Natural Coffee-Vinegar Cleaner and Deodorizer
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup used coffee grounds, thoroughly dried
- 1 cup white vinegar
Instructions
-
Combine the ingredients
Add the dried coffee grounds to a bowl or jar, then pour in the white vinegar. Stir until the mixture is well blended. -
Allow it to infuse
Let the mixture rest for several hours. This steeping time helps the coffee and vinegar interact, enhancing their odor-neutralizing properties. -
Use in your chosen area (optional)
If you’re using this as a deodorizer, transfer the mixture to a small, open container and place it in areas that tend to hold odors, such as:
- Inside the refrigerator
- Under the sink
- Near trash bins
Suggested Uses
1. Natural Deodorizer
- Pour the mixture into an open dish or container.
- Set it in spaces that need help with odor control.
- Replace as needed when the smell-absorbing power fades.
2. Gentle Cleaning Paste
- Scoop out a small amount of the coffee-vinegar mixture.
- Apply to stubborn spots on pots, pans, or other hard surfaces.
- Gently scrub to lift stains, taking advantage of the mild abrasiveness of the coffee grounds.
- Rinse thoroughly after cleaning.
Important:
Avoid using on delicate or easily scratched materials, as the coffee grounds can be abrasive. Always test the mixture on a small, hidden area first to ensure it does not damage or scratch the surface.
