  • 6 slices turkey or beef ham (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly flour your work surface and gently roll out each puff pastry sheet to even it out.
  3. Place one slice of ham (if using) on each pastry sheet.
  4. Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded cheddar and mozzarella over the ham.
  5. Starting from one edge, roll each sheet into a tight log. Press along the edge and ends to seal so the filling stays inside.
  6. Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking tray with the seam side down.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to help them bake to a glossy golden color.
