Variations & Tips
-
Add a boozy twist
For deeper flavor, mix in a splash of dark rum or banana liqueur before cooking. -
Boost the texture
Prefer a bit of crunch? Stir in a handful of chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans) or a small handful of raisins. -
Make it dairy-free
Replace the butter with coconut oil to create a dairy-free version with a light coconut aroma. -
Serve it with extras
For an indulgent dessert, spoon the warm banana pudding over slices of pound cake, waffles, or even pancakes.
