Ginger and Clove Tea

Spiced Ginger Tea Recipe

A quick, warming, and soothing spiced ginger tea you can make at home with just a few ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 small piece of fresh ginger (about 1 inch), grated
  • 1 Lipton tea bag
  • 5–6 whole cloves

Instructions

  1. Grate the ginger and crush or blend the cloves.
  2. Add the grated ginger and crushed cloves to a mug.
  3. Bring water to a rolling boil.
  4. Pour the hot water into the mug over the ginger and cloves.
  5. Place the Lipton tea bag in the mug and let it steep for about 3 minutes.
  6. Strain the tea to remove the ginger and cloves.
  7. Enjoy the tea while it’s still warm.
